Survey: What can one do...?

about a supervisor that keeps calling th employee every several days to ask when they plan on returning - like that will expedite the recovery?

Survey: What can one do...?
Don't answer the phone.

If you have been given a recovery period, stick to it, tell your supervisor what day you should be able to return and say "It's not going to be any sooner than that."
Reply:get a dr's note and cover your butt
Reply:i would report him to the person above him sounds like hes harrassing you
Reply:Give the person a straight answer, %26amp; maybe they will get off your back..
Reply:go to human resources or the union and stop that from happening
Reply:tell him to screw off.
Reply:Either give a definite answer, or stop answering the phone.
Reply:They are trying to set up work. That's not harassment-they need to know. I was in that situation as a Tech Service Engineer laid up unexpectedly. Left my boss in the lurch..
Reply:that's a hard one i was going to say call hes supervisor and let them know, but most likely they are the ones asking him to call ....give him the doctors prognosis that might help
Reply:Send him a doctors note.
Reply:flick a booger at them
Reply:id tell him
