Poll/Survey ::: At McDonald's...?

should the employees be REQUIRED to wear hairnets?

Cause I found a hair in my food today, and I told the manager that they should....and she didn't seem to care.

What do YOU think?

Poll/Survey ::: At McDonald's...?
Yeah, sure...

Personally, I do NOT want to eat any McHair.
Reply:I think, that McDonalds is a waste of the worlds resources and should be shut down, its making the world a sicker place.

Why are you even eatting that shitt anyways??!!!

I would be suprised if you continued to eat it after that experience. ...
Reply:I thought they were. At least the cooks and the counter help wear hats or visors. E-mail McDonald's you'll probably get a coupon and an apology. Make sure you tell them you talked to the manager.
Reply:I think they are supposed to be required to wear one.. aren't they?
Reply:Personally, I think everybody working at any and all restaurants should wear hairnets.
Reply:I think that they should wear hair nets. When I worked there in my teens we were required to wear ponytails and to not touch our hair.
Reply:Yeah, that's gross. I think they should. I would go to the better business bureau if she didn't care.
Reply:Hell yes they should, it's unsanitary.
Reply:Yes I swear the other day my daughter got an ice cream cone and the ladies hair was hanging in it as she rang us up. SICK!!
Reply:yeah, I think they should. If the manager wasn't interested you should go to the health dept.
Reply:They should at least be wearing hats.
Reply:I only wish they could all be bald...
Reply:Yes they should
Reply:Gosh!

U should complain to Ronald McDonald..

On a serious note, maybe they should
Reply:yes they should
Reply:yes

I TOOK A SURVEY AND WOULD BELIEVE HALF of THE MEN ARE CIRCUMSIZED????

IT'S TRUE, HALF OF AMERICAN FOLKS ARE JEWISH!!! I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT. I DID THIS AT MY JOB IN A FACTORY OF OVER 1200 EMPLOYEES. WHO WOULD DO THIS TO A CHILD?? I'M NOT CUT AND THANK YOU GOD IN HEAVEN. I'VE HEARD BECAUSE IT CUTS DOWN ON DISEASE, THAT'S A CROCK, IF YOUR FATHER SHOWS YOU HOW TO CLEAN PROPERLY AS A CHILD...... ALSO MEN ARE MORE SENSITIVE WITH IT NOT BEING CUT, AND DON'T HAVE TO USE CREAMS AND JELLS.... I THINK IT'S SEXIER TOO...... WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS EXTRA SKIN??????????????????????

I TOOK A SURVEY AND WOULD BELIEVE HALF of THE MEN ARE CIRCUMSIZED????
Wow, on the one hand you are kind of right, on the other hand, you are wrong.

If you are in the U.S., all of those men who are circumcised are not done because they are Jewish. It is because it is the custom of people here in the U.S. to mulilate their little infant boys. It started a long time ago in Victorian times in England and the U.S. Once they realized that it was not necessary and did not cause the diseases they thought it would, England dropped the practice like a hot potato, but the U.S. continues. A circumcised penis is rare in European countries. As a matter of fact, the main people in the world who circumcise their boys are the Jewish, the Muslim, (for religious reasons) and the U.S. Only 20% of the world's men are circumcised, and 18% of those men are from the U.S.

Why? Because here in the U.S., they use infant foreskins for burn treatment, and beauty products. Routine "medical" circumcision makes the doctors a lot of $$$$, because they charge to do it, then they sell the foreskins. And since it's been done so long, a lot of doctors don't know the proper care of an intact baby boy, (i.e., LEAVING IT ALONE!) and advise parents to clean and scrub under it, which causes it to get infected (I mean, just the same way it would hurt a girls privates to do this, it hurst a boys) which may lead to a then "necessary" circumcision a little later down the road.

But I agree with you. My husband is going through foreskin restoration now. The amount of sensitivity he has gained from keeping the glans covered has caused him to have more feeling in it now, and it is amazing...orgasms are entirely different now.

Thank goodness I educated myself when I was pregnant, and my baby boy has every last bit of the the genitilia that he was born with.

*******

Wolf, Wolf, Wolf...(shakes head) typical American female. Have you taken a mirror to your own genitals lately? What you see down there is far more "gross" than any intact penis. It's genitals. They are not supposed to be ugly or pretty. They are supposed to be functional.

Tell me, if you were to get a vaginal infection, or a yeast infection, or any other "good ole" bacterial infection, what part of your genitals would amputate to get rid of it? The facts are females get just as many or more infections that they have to get treated than an intact man does. 80% of the world's population of men are intact. None of them are complaining.

As for the claim of less sexually transmitted disease. Why don't you go and talk to one of the millions of CIRCUMCISED MEN who have the same diseases, and who have AIDS? Circumcision does not prevent these things. PROTECTION, CONDOMS are what prevents them.

Oh, and Peachyone, your lack of intelligence is astounding. Have you ever spoken to a man who has had both intact and later circumcised sex? If you spoke with a man who was circumcised as an infant, he never knew what he had in the first place to know what he was missing. The frenelum, on the underside of the foreskin, has the same amount of nerve equivalence as the female's clitoris. For some intact men, they can be stimulated to orgasm from stimulation of the frenulum alone, the same way as a female is able to be stimulated to orgasm via the clitoris. During circumcision, most or more typically, all of the frenulum is lost.

Just the same way as a circumcised woman can still have children and be stimulated to orgasm via the g-spot with no clitoris, the same it is for circumcised men. They can still bear children, and have orgasms, but the orgasms are in no way the same as they would have been if their genitilia had been left as nature (or God if you'd rather) intended for them to be.

I challenge any one of you to scroll down to the bottom of this screen, click UK and ask any one over seas what they think of circumcised men. The response you get may surprise you. Preference for circumcised men only exist here in the U.S. and in other Jewish and Muslim cultures. The same reasions for and stigmatisms that surround male circumcision here, are associated with reasons in other lands where female circumcisions exist. (It's cleaner, ew, uncut genitals are gross, sex will be better, etc.) They are exactly the same over there where female circumcision continues as they are over here.

Every part of the genitals are there for a purpose, and should be left alone, and not amputated.
Reply:Dear Answerer,

Your lack of TACT is astounding. If I have not fully understood (in your view) the anatomy of a foreskin function, it does not indicate lack of intelligence, but rather an ignorance of that "fact". Report Abuse

Reply:Actually, peachyone, it shows that you shouldn't have answered the question without the correct amount of information. Since you answered it anyways, that makes you an idiot. You are an idiot, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Report Abuse

Reply:It does not cut down on disease unless you are sexually active and negate the responsibility of using a condom. Women get far more infections than men do..we don't go around chopping Labia off. Some of these answers here are ridiculous. Sorry.

Sex feels better with an uncircumsized man.

That's all I'm saying about this.
Reply:More than Jewish men are circumsized. In fact, I'd say about 70% of the penis I have seen are circumsized here in the US - and only about 15% of those men were Jewish.
Reply:get over yourself.
Reply:The crock is that half of American folks are Jewish. They aren't the only ones who circumcise. I am female and prefer cut to uncut. I have never thought that the "dangle" is in any way "sexy".Yes, the uncut men I have known are more "sensitive" which has meant they don't last as long. Not a plus where women are concerned. And just to enlighten you, "female circumcision" involves cutting out the entire clitoris which would be like you losing your entire penis. Not an equal proposition at all.
Reply:thats disgusting

doctors think they know more than God but they dont!!!!!!!
Reply:It's common practice in America to circumsize babies. I don't agree with it but not everyone who's circumsized is a jew. Since the jews run the media they want their sick tradition to be brought upon Whites so they can blend in.
Reply:I really couldn't care less about another man's foreskin. I'm cut and glad to be so, but I have witnessed my nephew getting his circumcision and......I was disgusted
Reply:whilst the point on sensitivity and protection against disease ( provided they clean properly) are certainly correct, not all circumscised men are jewish, far from it.

personally i like the extra skin, and my partner does too, he unfortunatley was forced when little to have the operation due to parent's who seem to think they know everything that's best for their child, but variety is the spice of life as they say.

also note, PLEASE DONT POST IN ALL CAPS, AS ITS CONSIDERED SHOUTING AND COUNTS AS DISRUPTIVE POSTING.
Reply:most men get cut, not just jews.

and it does decrease std/hiv risk not to mention regular 'ole bacterial infections. even with cleaning why risk it?

plently of men still enjoy sex while cut and its easier to get a condom on.

I think its gross to be uncut
Reply:Jews work in factories?
Reply:all i know is that I'm uncut my wife loves it and gets more friction and orgasms that way so yeah i like having my whole penis and not a captain without its hat

Customer Service...survey?

Is it no longer important? Seems to me that retail stores do not care if you spend your money at their store. The employees do not want to be bothered by you. And it is hard to take your business elsewhere when I see this as an on going problem. Is

it a problem, or is it just my perception??

Customer Service...survey?
The salespeople are lazy and most are stupid. They are ruining the businesses for everybody, but no one decent wants a low paying job.
Reply:It's a problem. Hence the reason many people shop online now.
Reply:The problem isn't the service or the employee. It is the fact that customers are dirty rotten douchebags. Maybe if they treated the employee decently they would get better service.

Wal-Mart survey for my English class.?

I would like to get consumers and Wal-Mart employees opinion about Wal-Mart. Do you think they are good employers? Do you think Wal-Mart is causing jobs loss to overseas companies? Do you think Wal-Mart is good for the American people?

Thank you

Wal-Mart survey for my English class.?
Here in the US they have a reputation as a good employer and a great place to shop, i don't know if they are causing job loss in other countries, they contribute to jobs here.
Reply:In the US, Wal-Mart's reputation is beginning to slide. They are not good for the American people for tons of reasons (Wal-Mart is involved in hundreds of lawsuits regarding discrimination, environmental violations, not paying employees for time worked, and more), but they unfortunately offer very cheap merchandise. This means that the American people will continue to shop there because they cannot afford to shop anywhere else. And small towns will continue to want Wal-Mart to move in to their town because they think it'll bring jobs to the area, but it has been found that when a Wal-Mart moves into a town, the average wage in town goes down. Wal-Mart is not a good company, but their cheap prices ensure that they will stick around.n
Reply:good employees compared to who ? target is thier only real competitor with prices, kmart well,we all know about kmart,so theres nothing really to say about them.walmart okay to work for ,i mean yeah the wages are low,the work is hard,we are always shorthanded and having to do more than one person jobs, as well as having to constantly cover the cashiers (biggest customer complaint in our store ,why isnt there enough cashiers ?)and we get rude customers all the time, the assistant ,co's and store managers look stress all the time.customers blame them that we dont have enough cashiers/stockers but the fact is if the company itself doesnt allow the managers to hire more associates, the managers are stuck, and the associate are left to suffer.walmart is bad for the mom and pop stores just because they cant compete with the prices that walmart has,on the other hand walmart does supply jobs as well as low prices ,which is great for people with little or no income.the company in general has to buy overseas in order to keep the prices down.and walmart is not the only company who does this.really how many people are willing to have walmart change where they buy their products and be willing to pay the higher prices if they do?i know i wouldnt.lol now despite all of that i just said, for the main part i do enjoy working at walmart, there are some very nice customers,i would be bored if i wasnt working, and the physical work (stocker) keeps me in great shape.
Reply:Well, there are a lot of perks and disadvantages to working at wally world.

perks:

you get all sorts of benefits, health, dental, 401K, stock, etc.. you also get discounts on theme parks, movies, travel, hotels, etc... (they have certain terms and conditions though) even a mortgage discount.you get paid vacations, paid personal time, paid sick time. you get bonus checks sometimes, and they are always having food incentives to keep the store accident free, you get a 10% discount on merchandise and some food items too, but not so much food. at christmas time you get an extra 10% off of one single item.

Pay, for me anyway, is ok. i get paid $10.35/hr. but ive worked there for 4 years. i started out making $7.60 as a cashier, then i went to the service desk, then i went to a customer service manager and now i work in the accounting office.

up untill my position now, i absolutely HATED my job. the customers are always so mean no matter how nice you are to them, they blame everything on you because i apparently own the store and make all the rules (news to me), they talk down to walmart employees like we are trash, sometimes though you get nice people. The managers are never on the same page about anything. Also the managment loves to use you, they get every drop of everything out of you that they possibly can = the store is always understaffed. You cannot get overtime, they are royal pricks about it, if you literally get ONE MINUTE of overtime, you get written up. (at my store anyway - they are very very strict about it) there are never cart pushers/stock men so customers have to wait forever to get assistance with a carry out, and thus floor associates and recieving associates are always having to go outside and get shopping carts.

and a bunch of other stuff too. :(

if i didnt get the job i have now in the office, i would not work there anymore. people get sucked in, they start and dont plan on being there forever, and the next thing you know, they are door greeters and fitting room phone answerers.

their stuff is cheap because they have children making it overseas.

but i guess for americans, it is ok, the economy being slow noone has money and needs to save that extra dollar! i dont shop there though. i usually go grocery shopping at albertsons and get other stuff at target. :O

hahahaha..

wow, sorry this is so long.

Simple survey business owners.?

I am currently working a project for a beginner's economics class. If any business owners could answer a few questions for me, it would be greatly appreciated. I tried to keep it short and simple. Also, Please try to be as honest as possible.

1) What is it that your business does?

2) How long have you been in business?

3) How large would you say your business is? (Explain in terms of employees, clients, output, facilities, etc. Whatever is most fitting.)

3) How much profit would you estimate you make in one year?

4) What types of formal education have you recieved?

5) What reasons did you have for starting your own business?

6) Are you aware of the terms implicit and explicit costs? If you are, could you please mention some things you consider when calculating your implicit and explicit costs?

7) Do you hire an accountant or an economist to assist you with your expenses?

8) What jobs have you had in the past, and how much would you estimate that you would make in a year?
